Current Face Favourites | Estee Lauder, Clinique & More

I don’t believe I have ever spoken about what I wear day to day on my face, I’m not particularly gifted in the field of make up artistry and stick to a fairly minimal look everyday. Even when it comes to special occasions I don’t ever feel brave enough to venture from my comfort zone. So here we have a few products that I gravitate towards on a daily basis.

Real Technique’s Beauty Blender | I have only just discovered what a treat the beauty blender is and how I’ve lived without it so long is an absolute miracle. I previously used my fingers to apply foundation but now I’ll never go back.
The Body Shop Instablur | I would describe this as a holy grail product and one which I never want to be without. This primes the face to perfection and creates such a smooth surface to apply make up on. When I first used this someone complimented me on how flawless my face looked so it works people!
Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette Sugar & Spice | I don’t actually use this everyday of the week but it is one that I reach for regularly enough to feature. It has all the blush colours that compliment my paler skin tone, I use the very lightest as a highlight and the deeper shades for a little contouring if I’m feeling brave.
Seventeen Phwoarr Paint Concealer | I have never been lucky with concealers, my dark circles are formidable, so I’ve never found anything strong enough to cover them. But this phwoarr paint is pretty good, it’s very thick, so I need to make sure I apply liberally or it cakes up and creases under the eyes. If anyone has any concealer recommendations, high or low end, it would be much appreciated.
Clinique High Impact Mascara | Thank you glamour magazine for this sample sized mascara, I really love the volume and length I get from this. It’s starting to go clumpy and dry now so I need to purchase the full size and I’m hoping I can get it in brown or brown/black.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation | I have been dreaming about this foundation for what seems like forever. I went into Boots armed with my Christmas money and splurged on a bottle of double wear. So far I love everything about it, I do only wear it on my days off work, as I’m not wasting my expensive foundation working on a supermarket checkout. I was matched to the colour shell which is perfection, that’s the lightest shade they do, for reference I’m NC15 in MAC’s studio fix fluid. The coverage is excellent, flawless when used alongside the body shop primer and I really don’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my face.

I love your product selection. Makeup Revolution blushes must be my absolute favourite when it comes to the formula. Yes, you should be careful and use a light hand as they're super pigmented but I feel like they are the only ones that tend to last on me all day. Love the Clinique mascara, I'm currently on the tube number 3, it's one of the best daytime formulas I've ever come across 🙂

    Love, D x

I absolutely LOVE my beauty blender, and I've heard great things about Estee Lauder foundation too, but haven't gotten round to trying it yet – might have to now! 🙂 xxx

I don't really wear foundation all that often, but I know people who love to hear about these.

I have recently started using the bodyshop primer to keep my eyeshadow in place when I wear it!

Once you get into the world of beauty sponges, you can't go back to brushes! I love the Real Techniques one and the Beauty Blender too!

Have you ever try the MMaybelline concelears? They have some really good. Also Vichy Dermablend (concealer or foundation ) – really good but if like me you're pale then don't go up the 25 nude.
