Do you like my snazzy blogger cliché shots?
If you don’t follow me on Instagram then you may be unaware that I went a hell of a lot lighter on top. I’ve not dyed my hair all over for about 10 years, which makes me feel incredibly old but it’s meant my hair was in perfect health. I tried not to damage it too much but going a very light blonde it is inevitable so don’t be naïve to think otherwise. Naturally I am a dark blonde so I knew it wouldn’t take much to get the desired colour but I did have to do two rounds of dye.
I went for a very light ash blonde (I can’t remember the brand I used sorry) first to pre lighten it but it didn’t do the job in my opinion and it left me with different yellow, orange and white tones. I left it about 4 days and then went in with Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Lightener and was left with what I can only describe as canary yellow colour on top! But I have been using the fudge clean blonde shampoo on dry hair twice a week and it has been doing wonders. It took all the brassiness out and left me with this gorgeous multi tonal white/blonde colour. If anyone would like a post on the shampoo toners I’ve been trying out then let me know in the comments.
Do you like my obnoxious phone case? It has glitter, hearts and horses which makes it a Rose magnet and she’s been after my phone since I put it on. It’s from a lovely little shop called coconut lane, you can get 20% off your order using my code georgiapetite20. They do a great range of phone cases, cute jewellery, prints and other items, I suggest checking them out if you like instagrammable items.
