Makeup Revolution Haul Part 1

This is my first make up haul for ages and my first Makeup Revolution haul ever! I’ve always seen a lot of people reviewing their products and I want to start wearing eye shadow more, not wanting to spend an arm and a leg I took advantage of Makeup Revolution’s really reasonable prices and also Superdrug’s 3 for 2 deal and boy did I take advantage.

After doing a little research, mainly watching youtube videos, I decided to pick up some eye shadow palettes and I went for Make Up Revolution’s dupes for the higher end Urban Decay and as I am such a novice I wasn’t about to spend £30 on something I won’t be using everyday. So which ones did I go for?..
Iconic 1 palette £4, the first palette that went in my basket, it’s a dupe for the Naked 1 by urban decay and even though I don’t own that, the two are very similar. This is the palette I will probably get most use out of as the matte shades are really pretty and work friendly.
Iconic 2 Palette £4, now this is my favourite for the glittery shades, I probably won’t try them out until December, when it will be more acceptable, for me anyway, to wear sparkles on my eyes, haha! I really hope I can master glitter and just eye makeup in general so I can create some pretty looks.
Amazing Lipstick in Mystify £1, I may have been a little high, on all the make up to choose from not drugs (don’t do drugs kids), and in hindsight I wouldn’t have picked up this particular shade but I will see how to work it. I’ve not even tried it on yet, I’m hoping it’s sheer so I can build it up and use it as a lip stain. I can’t complain though for a pound the colour isn’t terrible and even if it looks bad I’ve not lost much.

Look out for part 2 soon as I’ve bought a few more lovely products from Makeup Revolution. Have you tried any of the products I featured above? Are you a fan of Makeup Revolution?

There stuff is pretty good. I don't think much of their matte eyeshadows but there shimmers are quite good. I'm a fan of their 18 color palettes. Try their sister brand I Heart Makeup, thats pretty good too x

I've had the first palette for nearly a year now and use it all the time, it's really good. You clearly have excellent taste!

Such a popular brand, and at those price points it's not difficult to see why. I like the shades in the UD Naked 1, so the Iconic 1 would be my first choice of MR palette too. Like you I've not been wearing much shadow recently – I go through phases. I'll probably get into the glittery thing too though over the next month, what with Xmas looming and all that. Tx

I knew their make up was cheap but those palettes are stupidly cheap. I have one with summer colours from one of their sister brands and wasn't too impressed, but maybe these ones are better x
