Hello and welcome to Blogmas day one. This time round I’ve become a blogging machine and got loads of posts lined up. Like promised here is the second part to my Makeup Revolution haul and it’s very pink!
Last week was all about the palettes and this week is no different actually, but the colours are far brighter and I finally got my hands on a blush palette.
Iconic 3 Palette £4, I bought this purely out of curiosity, I’m not sure I can pull off the pink lid with my fair complexion but I really love all the shades in this palettes, especially the second and fifth shimmers.
Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar & Spice £6, I have been wanting this palette for so long, all the shades are really wearable for me and my pale face. The top right is so pretty and the perfect highlight, I have been wearing it loads recently and had a few compliments on how nice it is. Directly under it is my favourite blush out of the lot, I’m not usually a shimmery blusher fan but it just looks beautiful and it isn’t too in your face sparkly. The whole palette is amazing and I can’t believe it’s only £6.
Blush in WOW £1, I bought this to purely because I needed to bump up the order for the special offer but I’m surprised at how lovely this blush is. The colour is the perfect muted pink, it gives the cheek the most natural rosiness. And for just £1 that’s pretty cool.
Iconic Pro Lipstick in Looking Ahead £2.49, last but not least, I’ve got yet another nude lipstick to add to my collection. I did a little research before choosing a lip colour and of the Iconic Pro lipsticks this was by far the most wearable. However I was a little worried when I saw the swatch on the website, it looked more of a purple shade than a nude but I’m so glad I ignored that and went ahead and ordered it. This shade is a wonderful browny, pink, mauve colour … if that’s even a colour?! It reminds me of MAC’s Whirl, which is another lipstick I really want.
