pmd personal microderm tool pmd personal microderm discs advanced kit

A very happy belated 6th birthday to the PMD Personal Microderm, I can’t believe I’ve only known about this product and been using it for a year. I don’t actually know or remember what my skin was like before this gem came into my life but I probably wrote it in the post I did last year. I am quite young looking as it is, people tell me constantly how I look like a teenager, so I mainly use my PMD as a kick start to anti-ageing and to keep my face full because I am pushing 30 ya know.

If you are still in the dark about what a PMD Personal Microderm is, let me tell you what you’re missing out on. If you are into your anti-ageing then this is for you, not only does the PMD deliver anti-ageing and purifying results but it also does it at the same level of professionalism as it would in a salon or spa. You get a deep exfoliation every time from the flat discs which are made from aluminium oxide crystal which prevent the possibility of having an allergic reaction and also eliminate any chance of bacteria spreading that cause those pesky breakouts or irritations, leaving the skin brighter, smoother and rejuvenated. You are probably thinking where the heck do all the dead skin cells go? Well this device has a handy vacuum feature which instantly removes them, it’s honestly like having the world’s smallest hoover on your face. This has it’s benefits also, it stimulates cell renewal and gets the collagen working so you can look like a teenager again or near enough.

The lovely lady who is my PR contact for PMD sent me over some goodies, some jelly beans, which I ate instantly because I hate to share with people. I was also gifted an advanced kit of discs which are slightly more coarse then ones I currently have. You get moderate, coarse and very coarse face and body discs included.I’m looking forward to a deeper exfoliation with the coarser discs as I have just ran out of my last replacement ones which weren’t as intense as these.

If you are looking for a beauty tool that will transform your skin or to just give it that extra kick start to the A/W then I highly recommend the PMD and it’s not just for those with high tolerance skin, you sensitive skin lot can use this too. I recommend checking their Instagram and website out as they have incredible before and after photos.

And another reason to grab one right now is they’re giving you 20% off all devices with the code HALLOWEEN20

I’d love to know your thoughts on this if you have one and if not, would you buy one?

Georgia x

I’m seriously obsessed with getting microdermabrasions but always have them done at a salon so spend a fortune. I should really invest in this home one instead. Jo x

I’ve really been considering some sort of brush for my skin, especially my face. So many to choose from!

This isn’t a brush, it is very different, so unlike the clarisonic (and other products like that) it’s not for cleansing but to give your skin a boost as it would if you got it done at a salon or spa.

I recently had a course of 3 microderm sessions and i have to say I was not really that impressed. I am happy to hear that you are having good results with this at home tho!

  15. 22nd October 2016 / 10:25 pm

Anything that stimulates cell renewal sounds good to us! Must show my mummy!

  17. 22nd October 2016 / 11:11 pm

This looks like such a nifty little gadget. I don’t really need anything anti-ageing at the moment but definitely something to consider in the future, better than going to a salon! x

  18. 23rd October 2016 / 10:41 am

I’d be too scared to do it myself at home. Do you have pictures of the results?

I don’t but there are plenty on their instagram and facebook page which I linked in the post. I have been using this for over a year and just forgot to take before and afters.

I adore my PMD and use it all the time, I love the sound of the replacement disks too with the coarser feel to them. I definitely want to give them a try and get some for myself xx

  22. 24th October 2016 / 12:35 am

Agh I’m one of those who haven’t heard of this – it sounds great I’d love to try it out myself

  23. 24th October 2016 / 6:58 am

I’ve heard so much about these and they do look great!

  24. 24th October 2016 / 9:47 am

I’m not so sure it would be my kind of thing – seems quite extreme, especially for home use. I think I’ll stick to my usual stuff, for now 🙂 Interesting to learn about it though, as I have been curious about it.
