Now that’s not to say it doesn’t do it’s job, it definitely covers pores but doesn’t minimise them, I have large pores on my cheeks close to my nose and they’re still visible. However, it does mattify the face, leaving it very smooth, if you wanted to have a makeup free day then I would recommend using this all over. But if you are applying foundation I suggest only using this on your t-zone, I find it doesn’t cake up quite as much. It also loves being applied on a very cleansed face, so no slacking in your skincare routine! I have combination skin and my t-zone gets very oily but if I use this I find it reduces the oiliness I get during the day.
The consistency is great which is one reason I think I keep trying to get this product in my good books. It’s a gel but a silky one which glides on the skin wonderfully and the smell is great, I love the tea tree oil scent, it just reminds me of cleanliness and freshness.
As I said before I’m still on the fence about this primer and after the 9 months I’ve spent trialling it, I can’t say I would repurchase. Have you ever tried the tea tree pore minimiser? What’s your favourite primer?
