My very generous best friend gifted me this set from The Body Shop, she knows how much I love their products so I was delighted to see a bag full of minis from the Fuji Green Tea range. I couldn’t wait to try them out and as always I was not disappointed.
The scent of the Fuji Green Tea products is hard to explain but I reckon it’s an acquired one, if you love green tea already then you will most likely enjoy the smell, it is very fresh but also a little masculine which I think is why some people aren’t too keen.
Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel
I’ve always had sensitive skin and am prone to allergic reactions to some shower gels and soaps, I tend to steer clear of heavily scented products and just use hypoallergenic ones. However this has been a pleasant surprise, I’ve used it for over two weeks and had no problems at all. If anything it is very moisturising for the skin. The smell is perfect for that morning “wake me up” shower and leaves me smelling so fresh.
Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub
I love body scrubs, there is nothing more pleasing to me than exfoliating my skin, especially my upper arms which have always been rather rough. After one use of this my skin felt noticeably softer than usual and considering this isn’t a very evasive scrub I am impressed. The scrub itself is in a jelly form and has two different sized beads and the smell is just the same as the shower gel.
Fuji Green Tea Body Butter
This is actually my favourite of all the body butters I have tried. It’s a lot lighter than most of their range. I find some too sticky after application and it would take me so long to actually apply it. But this body butter is a dream, once applied it takes no time at all to sink in and because it’s lighter the application is very quick too. The smell lingers for about two hours but if you use it in conjunction with the shower gel I’m sure it would last longer.
You also get a mini poof in the gift set which is very cute and perfect for holidays, I will be packing this away for my trip in June. The bag all the products came in is also handy as a makeup bag and I currently use it in my work bag for the junk that would usually be floating around in the bottom of it.
Have you tried any of the Fuji green tea range?
