seaweed pore cleansing facial exfoliator – the body shop
I have always been a huge fan of facial scrubs and I know it’s not just me that gets the satisfaction from the scrubby bits exfoliating the hell outta your face. And this particular one from The Body Shop does not disappoint in any way.
Well after my introduction you can tell which way this review is going, I love it, apart from one thing which I did have qualms about with another body shop product, the seaweed day cream, I would love them to do these in bigger sizes, 75ml is not enough. Ok it has lasted me almost 5 months because I use it liberally but I want a massive tube of it!!
I love the smell of this but can not for the life of me describe the scent, I will say it smells clean … Oh god I suck at this! Anyway the consistency was a little strange the first time I used it, I expected it to be like a cream but in fact it’s more of a gel with different sized exfoliating beads in. Once applied to a wet face it lathers beautifully and almost straight away I feel my face breath a sigh of relief and thankful for scrubbing away the deadness.
I have to say using this for two times a week wasn’t enough to see a difference to my skin, so I decided to up it to three times and I got better results, my blackheads cleared up and my skin appeared clearer overall. I also noticed a lot less oil in the morning when using this the night before.
I love to apply this after using the cleansing facial wash from the same range, the two of them together make my skin feel really soft and super clean. Keep an eye out next week for my review of the facial wash.
Have you tired this exfoliator? Or do you have any recommendations?
