A New Coat & The Knitted Mustard Scarf

coat – asos, scarf & trousers – h&m, converse – clogs via eBay, shirt (slightly seen) – forever21

Finally I bought myself a thick black coat to get me through the sudden drop in temperature, don’t you think it’s been usually mild for this time of year. But winter is finally rearing it’s frosty head and giving me frozen fingers and a red nose on my walks to work.
I ordered G some Christmas presents, which may have included a pair of boxer shorts with a white tiger face on the back of them, a little tacky I know but he’ll love them. As ASOS love a discount code, as do I, I couldn’t help but grab myself something too and this black slim coat seemed a good choice. I usually like a more fitted coat but decided on picking a size up so I can wear my thick jumpers underneath.
The style is smart with the large lapels and has a boyfriend blazer fit which is why I prefer to balance it out with skinny jeans and keep it casual with a pair of chucks. I’ve worn my mustard scarf with this purely for colour and comfort purposes. It’s seriously warm and very soft, G bought me this about 4 years ago and it still feels exactly like the day he gave it me. I urge you to check out H&M’s thick knitted scarves because they are amazing.
I almost missed writing today’s post due to complete distraction, I got lost on the internet and ended up looking at pictures of Goa. I told G I want to go there for my 30th birthday as it’s just pure paradise and I would need to forget that I’m turning another decade. We’ve got 3 years to save which means we can go all out luxury for it. I urge you to Google Goa if you’ve never heard of it!!
Do you like my new coat addition?

I've never been to Goa, but I bet its beautiful. Love the color of the scarf, really eye catching against the black jacket.
