I got my velvet boots back out as it seems my toes are practically falling off when I’m out. Last time I styled them on the blog I did so with skinny jeans but looking back I should have paired them with these gorgeous Zara jeans which seem to go with everything.
I turned up the bottoms a few times and left a little ankle cleavage showing so as not to look too weird or frumpy, do people still use that word? There is something cool about wearing boots with boyfriend jeans, it makes them look more sexy and chic which is what I want to feel like on occasion.
Doesn’t a tartan just scream winter to you? It does me! But I’m not brave enough for tartan trousers or skirts but a scarf is a perfect way to inject a little tartan into your look without compromising your comfort levels. I bought mine from Primark a few years ago and it’s still really soft, not terribly warm but that’s ok. The colours of it ensure it will go with most of what you own and it looks very Christmassy!
I’ve got a few more beauty posts lined up and also a very honest life one too which I hope everyone can laugh at instead of judge! Today and Tuesday I will be slogging it away on the checkouts at work, so please have sympathy for us all over the next few days, retail isn’t the best profession to be in over Xmas! 🙂
Is this a style you like too or do you prefer wearing boots with skinny jeans?
