Dressing Down Fancy Flats

These photos were the best of a bad bunch, I looked over them after shooting and 90% of them where out of focus or over exposed, I was a little disappointed but managed to salvage a few to finally get a new outfit post up.

I don’t do girly terribly well and I hate looking like I’ve made too much effort on a day where quite frankly I am doing absolutely nothing. But I did want to get these gorgeous Zara flats out of my shoe draw and give them a good wearing in. Paired with these straight cut jeans and an oversized jumper makes them much more wearable, I do love jazzing up a simple outfit.

Today has actually been a rather special one for me, I became an auntie for the fourth time as my sister gave birth to a baby boy at 6.31am and they named him Rupert! How adorable is that name, he is so cute too, all chubby cheeked and pouty lipped. I won’t meet him in person until August which I know is only two weeks away but I need my nephew snuggles … haha!
Let me how would you style these flats? Super girly or relaxed like me?

I always feel disheartened with my blog photos but they are never as bad as we think, I guess bloggers are just perfectionists haha! Also congrats on being an auntie again, I'm actually an auntie to three but I don't get called auntie as they are actually not that much younger than me haha! This is a lovely outfit, that jumper looks super comfy and is a lovely pop of colour for the outfit. I'm definitely more of a flats girl than a heel one!

Yeah we are our own worst critics! Thank you! Oh I love being called auntie but then the my niece is 13 years younger than me, my little sister is a very young Auntie and she just gets called by her first name.
