Introducing Leopard Print To Your Wardrobe

I have never been a leopard/animal print lover at all, I always thought it was for the older ladies who enjoy going to bingo or live their winters in Lanzarote. But I was wrong and I am happy to hold my hands up and say,

“sorry leopard print, I misjudged you.”

Let’s go back to just over a month ago when I took the plunge and bought a leopard print bag from H&M. Only one side has the design on but it is that faux pony hair which I think makes it look and feel a little more fancy. I have worn that bag nearly everyday since and I can not believe how much it goes with. Especially now we are into Autumn.

I came across these absolutely gorgeous Pimkie boots on one of my ASOS binges and they were an unbelievable £28.99. Now it is very hard for me to buy boots, I’ve bought ones, then had to sell them months later because they were just too high heeled or the actual boot came too far up my leg. But it’s like these Pimkie ones were made for my petite legs, they come just over the ankle making them perfect for wearing with everything. I wore them today with jeans and yesterday with a skirt and I felt sassy as!

I thought about how daunting it is to get your first leopard print piece and if like me you’ve shied away from it but feel kind of ready to introduce something to your wardrobe. I’ve collected a few accessories above to ease you in, I think sunglasses or even a purse or bag strap would be an ideal place to start. I also wanted to include different sized animal print because let’s face it some of us like it big, some like it small and no that’s not a euphemism.
So have you seen anything that would tickle your leopard print fancy, I am in love with that hat, top right, I honestly need it for this Winter.

I had a leopard fetish a few years ago and had to have everything leopard! My daughter told me the other day that I was too 2012 but since then I’ve seen loads of leopard in fashion boutiques and think she’s wrong. Vivre la leopard:-)

I recently bought my first leopard print piece. A thin strapped vest. It’s still in the back of my wardrobe though I can’t quite get confident enough to wear it now I’ve bought it

I’ve never personally been a leopard print fan either but I’d like to add a little leopard print into my outfit! I really like the sunglasses and the pom pom charm! The bag you bought from H&M sounds really lovely, too!

These boots are lovely, I think if you just include little bits it can really stand out. I used to have a lovely purple leopard print strap top which I loved x

I do feel, at 45, that I am too old for leopard print – I do love it though. Maybe I could try the belt or sunglasses! Kaz x

Hmm, that’s a difficult design to pull off. I remember it being very popular about 20 years ago, and I might still have a scarf or two in my closet. It would probably work better on young girls and women than someone of my interesting age.

My leopard pumps are one of my most worn items – they go with jeans, or black pants and travel well too.
