There is no black clothing in sight! For the first time in so long I am wearing something that is “colourful”, well sort of. Ok I am still wearing grey but the blue coat and silver give it a little something, don’t you think?!
coat & shoes – asos, trousers & shirt – h&m, rings & earrings – primark
The shirt I’m wearing is made out of really floaty and rather see through material, I usually wear a vest underneath but I went for a nude/pink bra which seemed to work perfectly. I am on the hunt for a nice cotton shirt, something with a little more structure, for some reason I don’t own one, which is crazy because I’m pretty sure it’s a wardrobe staple.
In keeping with my silver obsession, see the shoes, I’ve been loving silver jewellery lately too and when I found a little trinket box filled with silver studs I did a happy dance. Some of them are ridiculous but I found a couple that worked, I really like the all seeing eye studs the best because they are actually a really sweet pair but I do need some more and if anyone has any recommendations for places to get nice minimal studs then leave me a comment below!
I am going to a christening, I’m becoming godmother for a second time which is a huge honor, next month and I still have nothing to wear, I ordered a beautiful sequin skirt from H&M but it was tiny and made me feel like I’ve put on a million stone, so I’ve returned that. I spent my entire evening yesterday and morning today searching high and low for something, when I finally decided to try out some culottes. I also got a pair of gorgeous block heeled shoes in red, two words I never thought I’s be saying, heeled and red! I’ll see how it works out and hopefully I won’t have to spend anymore money apart from my Christmas shopping.
Do you like my “colourful” outfit? Have you tried the culottes trend?
