Pulp Fiction, the film that completely changed my opinion on cinema and pushed me into becoming quite the movie lover as well as a Tarantino fanatic, the man does no wrong for film in my eyes. Possibly one of his most famous characters is Mrs Mia Wallace. As iconic as her personality is, her overall look in the film took off, the reservoir dogs-esque shirt and pants finished off with a pair of gold Chanel flats became super chic and almost every womans go to tough girl fancy dress costume. Which coincidently is how I came to own this shirt with the widest sleeves in the world that I’m sure Mia Wallace would be proud of. y sister hit the big 40 at the beginning of the month and announced a few months earlier that she was to celebrate with a fancy dress party. Now I did go a little safe with going as the leading lady of Pulp Fiction but that doesn’t mean I didn’t suffer wearing a black wig all night.
I have around four white shirts of different materials and styles currently in my wardrobe and I don’t think I will be buying any more after this. I love the wide sleeves and crispness of this particular one from H&M. This makes such a statment without me having to try too hard. Can we just take a moment and admire these glorious Stella McCartney dupes from Zara, they have given me crazy blisters whilst wearing them in but I don’t care as I just need to wear them everyday.
Whilst I’ve been away from the blog I have been adding a lot more colour and variety to my wardrobe. I am feeling a lot more confident in changing my style and really showing personality rather than thinking I need to wear certain things because that’s what is fashionable. So expect a little more colour, some skirts and even a corduroy pinafore (I’m not kidding!) on here.
