can we just laugh at my face, no idea what I am doing with it!!!
Happy Wednesday everyone, I’ve had a pretty busy but uneventful day, I did order two Christmas jumpers from boohoo though which should arrive tomorrow and now I’m sat eating a ball of mozzarella, gross I know but I love the stuff. Anyway I wanted to see if it would be at all possible to wear my grey new balance with grey jeans, I always thought it would look a bit naff but actually I really like the two together.
coat – asos, jumper, scarf & trousers – h&m, trainers – new balance
Styling the same colours in different shades can be tricky for me, I usually like to have a few different colours in one outfit, reason being I don’t think I am terribly good at putting interesting looks together. I’m actually pleasantly surprised that the grey on grey works so well and it means I have a few more options for my new balance as they have been neglected over the recent months. I’m doing the obnoxious coat drape, because honestly it won’t fit over this jumper, but it does look perfect with the outfit. I then went one step further into the grey and finished off the look with my frayed edge scarf from H&M, is it too much grey? How many times can I say grey!!!!
This may sound odd but there is something so calming about the colours of this outfit and even though the tones are all cool, I still feel it looks cosy. I keep doing this side braid, it’s replaced my signature top knot and it probably takes less time because I became a bit of a perfectionist with the bun.
Do you like my lip colour? It’s AVON’s ultra glimmerstick in simply spice with a little clear gloss over the top. I never thought I would just wear a lip liner but I’m coming round to the idea of it and this combo is my absolute fave.
Do you like the grey on grey on grey?
