For the first time in three years I am off on holiday, actually leaving the country on an aeroplane. I am beyond excited albeit a little hesitant, because it’s been so long. We are 30 minutes before our friend arrives to drive us to Luton and I have made enough time to blog, that is dedication.
For flying attire I went with these super-stretch trousers from H&M, a slouchy jumper and my black converse. I packed my jacket in my hand luggage too, which is a DKNY perfume freebie, this bag is so old and I can’t quite believe it is still in one piece. I’m not carrying much in there, just essentials for Rose like a tablet full of Peppa Pig episodes and snacks, my camera, our boarding passes and passports. I like to travel light hand luggage wise, mainly because I can cram it with duty free goodies.
Rosso has gone into kennels and I am freaking out, not because I don’t trust the people where he is staying but because he is my boy and I won’t know if he’s ok until we pick him up next Saturday. Rose did ask “Where is So?”, I got a lump in my throat, I didn’t think she would notice he was gone. Quite clearly they have a stronger bond than I thought.
Packing, oh my god what a nightmare that has been, I have packed and repacked probably five times. It’s going to be really hot in Hungary, a very respectable 31 degrees, which is also making me freak out, you know how much I despise the heat. G said it is much nicer heat than here in the UK but we will see. I’ve only ever been to Hungary in the Spring and Winter. Because of the hotness I’ve had to buy shorts and another pair of sandals to get me through, I went for linen shorts and they are bloody amazing.
I have scheduled a few posts for while I’m away, sadly there is only two posts because I somehow managed to delete the photos to the third one! Really annoyed with myself!!
Well have a good week and I’ll speak to you all very soon.
