Let’s Talk Monday’s

Never has a day been more loathed than a Monday, let’s be honest most of us have hated it at one time or another and when there are more negative than positive memes about it, it’s hard not to be a little down. But I want us all to banish those feelings and see Monday’s for what they really are … A fresh start! 2015 has 52 of the pesky buggars so you can start over that many times, plan your days ahead and look forward to new adventures every week.
I was born on a Monday which should automatically make me love them but oh how I used to disliked them, why? Because I have to work 6 hours on a checkout (I know not long but with only 15 minute tea break it feels like forever) but then I realised that it’s the day that I am paid the most for. Which means we get our luxuries of internet, TV, quilted toilet roll and my Leerdammer addiction every month and of course it’s why I get to watch Pretty Little Liars marathons daily on Netflix. I have to say that I really look forward to Monday’s now, I get to see my regulars at work, G is home all day and we get to spend the night together and he always cooks something delicious for me.
As today is the day I’ve been planning my week ahead, tomorrow I am working which means the rest of Tuesday will be chores. Wednesday and Thursday are my days off, I have a lot of blogging booked in both days and some Christmas shopping, yes I start this early so I can deliver them all by the beginning of December. I’ve also got Rose’s birthday to sort out, I can not believe she will be 2 next Tuesday, I’ve got all her presents ready and wrapped but still have no idea what to do for it. Oh well we’ll see what ideas me and G can come up with by the end of the week.
Well now I’ve told you why I no longer hate the dreaded Monday. Let me know why you love or hate it?

I used to hate Mondays as a kid/teenager, but as an adult they are so much better than the weekends!

I don't like Mondays either, I always feel drained on a Monday, I don't really know why!
Well done on starting Christmas shopping, I haven't even thought about it yet. xx

The past few years I have been a stay at home mum, so all the days are pretty much the same. Coincidentally I have just taken a part time job on a checkout, but I enjoy getting out. The job is a break. Regardless, I think we should all try to enjoy every day. You only get one chance at it x

I don't mind Mondays now, but I used to hate them when I had a job I didn't like. The weekend seemed to be over in a couple of hours!

Monday's in school and work were the worst but time seems to go by so fast now that they don't bother me
