My 2 Year Old Fairy Princess | A Rose Post

cat pj top – matalan/ fairy princess costume – morrisons
Another late post today, mainly because I spent the entire day looking for holiday clothes for me and Rose, I have mentally spent about £300. Anyway onto today’s post. I don’t remember the last time I wrote solely about Rose on here but I know it’s been too long.

I’m reminded everyday that she is no longer a baby and that I now have a 2 and a half year old who is very head strong and also very fiery. I was told girls are very outspoken and that they go through the terrible two’s rapidly. I thought I was prepared for her being a toddler, nope I was mistaken, nothing could have prepared me for this and at times I find it so hard.
The crying, whining and tantrums we face on a daily basis are usually the result of things she can not do properly for herself, like getting her shoe on, well she can do this but we all have moments. Another is toys not turning on when she wants them, not being able to lay her duvet neatly on the floor to have picnics, I could go on forever. However these moments are short lived and when the storm passes, the sun does shine and Rose is so loving and caring. She loves to share, sing, chat (all day!!) and most of all she loves a good cuddle or as we call it “snay”.
I still look at her sometimes and think how on earth did I make this intelligent, compassionate and beautiful human, the gift of having children is certainly an amazing one. As we approach three years a lot more will change for my fairy princess and I am excited to see how the next few years will shape her.

She looks so adorable, but I'm guessing she has her moments, all kids do.

This is so sweet! I love how you know her so well to put down how she acts and what you love about her. This will be the best gift you can give her when she is older. It shows how much time you put into your relationship and how much you care about her. I love reading these updates but wish I would have done them for my kids when they were younger! Great job!

She looks like an angel! Although most kids, and not just her have their moments, believe me. 🙂 Just try to let her figure it out for herself and soon enough she'll grow to be a lovely young woman just like you 🙂

You deserve each other! Her smile is just amazing and I am sure she will grow more adorably with your great guidance.

She looks adorable! I cannot relate yet because I don't have daughter. But hopefully, if I ever have one, it'd be as cute as yours. She looks very charming!

first off, I haven't seen a post about this little light yet, but I am so glad I have now! She is too cute! They say when kids need to do something in their life they will, my parents would tell my younger siblings that at their next birthday they were going to officially be a big kid and had to do big kid things, such as putting on their shoes etc. Maybe that could help her? Anyway, she is adorable and I love her fierce little spirit!

Your Rose is so cute and adorable. How i wish i also have a baby girl
but God gifted me with four boys. Children grow up too fast and it would be too selfish and impossible to wish they stay babies forever.

There really is no way around it. One of the reasons for tantrums is that they are experiencing different emotion but they do not understand what they are feeling, and that could lead to tantrums. Too much physical activity is a different thing that they would suddenly cry while sleeping.

Must be so amazing to see your daughter grow up. What a great girl she is already now at 2 years old. She looks adorable with the princess clothes on. Be happy, even in the worst moments of raising her, that she is with you <3
